Coroner Reports

A certified copy of the autopsy report can be purchased at a cost of fifteen cents per page and may be ordered by mail or in person.  During regular business hours, call the Coroner to learn the cost of the documents. If you would like an uncertified copy it can be delivered via e-mail at no cost.  When ordering by mail, please include the name of the deceased, date of death, coroner case number and a check made payable to County of Orange- Sheriff's Department.

Certified Copy of the Death Certificate

Certified copies of the Death Certificate initially are ordered for the family by the funeral director handling final arrangements.

Additional copies also may be purchased from: Orange County Health Department, Birth & Death Registration

If the death occurred more than six months ago, copies are available from: County Clerk-Recorder’s Office
