Inmate Information System

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has restored access to the Inmate Information System (formerly called “Who’s in Jail”) to allow the public to access information about people currently in custody at the Orange County Jail.

The Inmate Information System was offline for several months. The new version of the system was developed with enhanced cybersecurity protocols, including sign in and authentication requirements for users.

When you first visit the Public Services Portal where the Inmate Information System is housed, you will be required to create an account utilizing an email address and password. This will ensure a personalized and secure experience.

The current version of the Inmate Information System does not provide the ability to view inmate charges. Bail bonds personnel in need of this information should continue to utilize the current method to access inmate charges.

In the coming months, additional systems will be added to the Public Services Portal, including arrest logs, the blotter, and other e-services.

The Sheriff’s Department appreciates your patience while we worked to enhance the security of this system and bring it back online.
