California Penal Code section 13650 requires law enforcement agencies to post online all current standards, policies, practices, operating procedures, and education and training materials that would otherwise be available to the public if a request was made pursuant to the California Public Records Act (CPRA). The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has compiled these documents by division. Investigative, tactical, and security information has been redacted in accordance with the law. This is an opportunity for the public to see the extensive and robust policies, procedures and training Orange County Sheriff’s Department employees receive to provide exemplary law enforcement services to our community.
